A No One

by TornToShreds   Sep 9, 2008

The quiet girl who sits in her seat,
no one knowing her inner defeat.
She scribbles in a notebook,
ignoring her work,
knowing only this to mask her hurt.
She looks up and laughs,
randomly so.
she gets a stare,
becoming the show.
shouts of 'emo' and scum go her way,
wishing she could just melt away.
she looks back down,
scribbles some more,
closes her book,
gaze to the floor.
only she knows her inner pain.
walking home,
crying in the rain.
once she is home,
he monster of her thoughts come.
taunting her thoughts,
screaming she should die.
she turns on her music,
and begins to cry.
She takes out a razor,
slitting her wrists,
thoughts of her father,
balling her fists.
paying no attention,
she moves and hit herself wrong.
realizing she will die she smiles,
knowing the pain will be soon long gone.
when she was found,
her mom was shocked,
her dad dumbfound.
a note saying he was part to blame,
made him cry calling her name.
vowing to never think to drink again.
her mom calls her only friend for her rest.
the group makes 3 to 4 at best.
a small service,
little tears,
unrecognizing of her anguished years.
and watching down from the sky,
she tilts her head,
and begins to cry,
