Life

by TornToShreds   Sep 1, 2008

The dark cloak wearing lady plays charades with herself.
Her hair is so long and with one big curl
she is beautiful.
She just doesn't know it yet.
Fallow me walk to my side of the street.
Let me walk you home with roses trailing our
way the entire time.
Forget about him.
The boy with the shocking eyes.
All he did was lie to and call you names
behind your back.
You played his little game for awhile, and you lost every time.
It's time to forget all that water that drowned you.
When you finally reach the surface, you will
and
I promise you will be able to breathe again.
So put your cloak down stop hiding.
Walk with me, talk with me I'll understand.
No, I promise I wont leave you because I am your heart.
I'll always be there even when you don't need me.
When
no one cares I'll care about you
until your last
blink on this grassy earth.
I promise to stay in your chest forever
