A Match Made In Blood

by Spoken Silence   Jul 1, 2008

Take a knife and cut my wrist
As I cut yours.
Pass the quill and dip it in the blood.
Sign the contract of our love.
And this is a match made in blood.

Bring out the handcuffs,
Take out the chains.
Tie me to the bed and we'll go insane.

Deep bites into skin,
Sensual touches.
Nails scratching.
This is our love in action.

I know this may sound weird.
But this is what I see is perfect.
A black wedding,
With blood dripping down.

This is a match made in lovers blood.
And its perfect.

``Wonderful word-choice.. Deep, sensual, scratching.. Gives the reader something to picture. Great imagery.

``Perfect ending, worded perfectly. Amazing. However, you'd want a apostrophe in it's because you want to say.. "and it is perfect." I know you know that, just a slight observation!

`` Overall, wonderful write. Deep poem, but was well done. 5/5. Keep up the great work, dear. :)

This is something very weird! Well... but it's a dark poem so it's ok. Interesting and captivating... Nice to read.
