Why Cant You See It?

Cant you see the pain in her eyes
Cant you tell she isn't okay
Nothings going right
& its all because you went away

You left her
But of coarse you wouldn't care
She was so in love with you
& yet you were never there

All she wanted was to be all you wanted
...but her best just wasn't good enough
She just needed you
but you just made her life that much more tough

You walked all over her
& yet she didn't mind
She was happy
But you just left her behind

& its funny how she would do it all
just to see you smile
& you just took it all for granted
but to her, your smile made it worth while

You finally let her go
...though it was best for her well being
it wasn't best for her heart
....she rather you walk all over her,
then you two be part

Now she walks the halls
her eyes red with tears
You don't even notice
..losing you was her biggest fear

Cant you see the pain filling in her eyes?
Cant you see her heart is breaking?
