The Next Morning

by Lance Hardy   Jul 13, 2008

Darkness grows every day
Nothing to do but stop and pray
Begging for, a world so new
Please for me, life be true

Darkness holds, my heart so close
Release does feel, so hard it chokes
How can I live, going on this way
But this is life, this is my shame

How to go on, when it is right here
You're struggling with all, those so dear
Sometimes you wish you're all alone
But it always seems, you need that backbone

Those, who, are always there
They always show, that they care
Make you feel like number one
Until it's time, for the next sun
