Denise

Denise

She died today
She left this world and went away
Where she is no one really knows
But in a better place we all suppose

With her pain I could relate
I hope one day we'll meet at heavens gate
Denise we'll miss your bubbly laughter
The world will be a quieter place from here on after

Elsie and Denise were like twin sisters
And I know that I will always miss her
Her friendly face and quiet chats
Her caring ways and funny hats

I'll miss her visits and little talks
To come and chat she often walk
When she'd visit she'd bring some tarts or sometimes cake
Denise would always give and seldom take

She died today
With broken hearts we'll walk away
Some light was taken from this dismal place
I'll always remember your shining face

Goodbye Denise we'll always love and miss you

Lovely tribute you wrote here :)
I always love to read tributes not only because they show the sadness and sorrow of someone's passing but in some cases also the beautiful side of live itself. It gives you a little glimpse of how a person was. Denise must have been a great and lovely person.

    Take care

This Is a beautiful tribute to a true friend I am sure you and Elsie will miss for some time.
I am happy to see she has left you both with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

As with all you write it is in true poetic form from the depths of your heart 5/5 JIM

Am sorry for your loss. Sometimes it takes the loss of a friend (although one of life's saddest events) to bring out the best in us all.

I know she sees this and is happy you are going to miss her. You penned this so well, I know your heart must be full and grieving.
What would we do if we were unable to write out how we feel? Good poem Grant and so very sorry you had to write it
