A Young Teenage Girl(Lost In This World)

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Jul 15, 2008

A young teenage girl, lost in this world of cries
She's believed so much bullshit and lived by lies
She's worn her heart in shatters, broken on her sleeve
Trying to find some truth in which she can believe

A young teenage girl, lost in this world of hate
Ending her unbearable life she sometimes debates
But who would miss her, who would really care?
Would she rather end her life or live in despair?

A young teenage girl, lost in this world of scars
She drags that sharp blade up and down her arm
She watches as her blood drops crimson to the floor
Each cut makes her wonder if she can take much more

A young teenage girl, lost in this world of shame
No matter what she does, she's always the one they blame
She's never good enough in anyone's judgmental eyes
She goes home alone, sits in her room, and cries

A young teenage girl, lost in this world of writing
So everyone can read about this life she's fighting
She writes what she feels as this planet twirls
Just a young teenage girl, lost in this world
