Mirror, Mirror

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Jul 19, 2008

Mirror, mirror of shattered glass
Here we go again, back to the past
Slice my skin and slice it well
Take my life, I will not tell

Mirror, mirror oh so sharp
Kill me slowly, stop my heart
Hit that vein, make it seep
I won't cry, refuse to weep

Mirror, mirror you lied to me
A happy girl I do not see
There are only tears, now taint them red
Cruel is this world and the things that are said

Mirror, mirror on the bathroom wall
You've done your job and my body falls
Deadly glass has slit my wrist
My false reflection has left me like this

I love ur poetry. It's so deep and sometimes crazy but always has meaning behind it. It's sad, but life is sad until something better comes along and this world is gone. But I really love ur poetry. I thought that with this poem, like I said b4, it's deep. 5/5

This was a wonderfully written poem, it is so short, yet it just has the meaning written well into it.

    "Mirror, mirror of shattered glass
Here we go again, back to the past
Slice my skin and slice it well
Take my life, I will not tell"

That is my favorite stanza, the rhyming was perfect, and it was so ture as well.

Obviously a 5/5 poem. Beautiful, I love it. Keep it up ^_^
