A Love Letter

I can't do much because of the distance.
I can only hope that my words will suffice.
Just wanted to let you know; I love you.
And that you still mean everything to me.

Don't worry, my love, I haven't forgotten.
We'll be together one day, I have complete faith.
Does the waiting hurt you like it does me?
How do you get through it all?

I know that one day it will all pay off.
Because we'll hold each other through the night.
I won't have to let go this time; it'll be forever.
We'll be together for all eternity.

I have dreams of the day when it'll come true.
When we'll look into each others eyes.
We'll speak in silence; no words needed.
Just those silent glances across the room.

I ask that you keep these things in mind.
And please do not give up on me.
For it will no longer be a dream; it'll be reality.
Sometime in the next few months.

Thank you for sticking by my side.
And always being there for me.
I can only say those three little words;
And you know they're true.

Baby, you know I mean every word.
With every single inch of my heart.
I'll be here for you until the end of time.
I love you, always and forever.

    This was so beautiful. I've been going through kind of the same thing.. I know how it feels to be distant from someone who you have very genuine and true feelings for, but the distance is just the only thing that keeps you apart. You love this person with all your heart and they are so kind and there for you through everything, but the distance is what keeps you apart. But the future is always ahead and something great may happen in the future. You wish more than anything for the dream to come true and turn into reality someday in the future. Totally related to this poem.. I love how all your love poems I have some connection to. They are so fun to read. Truly a outstanding write, my dear. (: Keep it up. This was flawless. 5/5.
