I Love You...Sometimes

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jul 28, 2008

When you're kind and considerate saying sweet things to me
I love you.
When you're cold, unreliable, and won't let me see
I don't.
When you're thoughtful, charming, bringing a smile to my face
I love you.
When you turn away and make me feel out of place
I don't.
When you're a beautiful poet with a sensitive soul
I love you.
When you isolate and self-destruct after making me whole
I don't.
When you tell me I'm your greatest happiness in life
I love you.
When you reject my help when it comes to the knife
I don't.
When you accept my love and it makes your heart glow
I love you.
When you reject my kisses and just let me go
I don't.

I absolutely loved how you kind of made comparisons in this poem as to when you love this person and when you don't. That was unique and I love the format of this piece, it's something different. Your emotions were so clear in this one. Keep it up. Great write. :] 5/5.
