I love it!

"One day your telling me you love me
& promising our forever
The next you wont even talk to me
You never want to spend time together"

^ This has happened to me, just one to many times. and I know it sucks so bad ^

"I do it all
I always let everything go
I figure if I just pretend
All the bad wont ever show"

^ I love the flow of this stanza, really good ^

"And well right now I cant lose you in life
I need you more now than ever
So lets just play pretend
and make this last forever

Lets just pretend
you love me like you say
lets just pretend
everything is okay

Maybe then we could make it
Not a lie ever spoken
To Just Play pretend
is the road that should be chosen"

^ The heart of the poem, and it just sings (if you don't mind me saying) ^

^ I've been there, had to pretend just to make it through ^
