Sunshine the good Lord has sent in this life of mine,
The reason why I do not know,
forever and ever I hope for our friendship to grow,
You pick me up day after day,
I feel like I will never find the right words to say,
I know I talk to much and tend to keep you up very late,
and yet you don't get mad or even hate,
I wanted to send this to show that your friendship I do appreciate,
with our friendship you will never be stranded,
whatever you wish of me will be granted,
you have breathed a breath of fresh air back in to my life, that was left in shambles by my ex-wife,
You are so very special to me,
and from my past you helped set me free,
before I lay this poem to rest,
remember your past is your past and the future holds your BEST.
