Special Friend

by Shane Bowers   Aug 5, 2008

Special Friend
Let you know how I feel
Is the hardest thing to do
To open up my heart
And say I care about you
Your presents warms my heart
Your smile brightens my day
Your voice sings to my ears
Your fragrance like flowers in May
Your laughter fills me with joy
Your sadness fills me with pain
Your eyes sparkle like diamonds
Your touch feels like the morning rain
When I am near you
Only one thing that I pray
That our friendship
Is here to stay
I know you are always true
For you are a special friend
Whom I will always be there
for until the end

I really liked your poem. Although where you have "presents," it should be "presence." But other than that minor spelling mistake, very well written. 5/5
