The Sea and Sun's Sand

by Jemma   Aug 6, 2008

With the hazy breath of a sun that melts even the sullenness of the dusk
So that even that is warming to the soul
With palms that reach out so hopefully
For a droplet of water pearls and diamonds
More precious that the gold of the horizon
A retreat from the gaze's fury of an unrepentant sun
And yet is the force to save us with our energy sourced from its favour
Whispers and rustles, and the voices of the followers of the sea and sun's sand
