I've grown up, but I want to grow away,
feelings still bottled up inside of me.
Dreaming with a broken heart here as I lay;
searching to forget can't you just see?

How can I not recall our late night talks,
reassuring me that never meant forever.
Pacing and stuttering, gazing up the clocks
remarking moments, you were always clever

We were so perfectly wrong for each other,

somehow I always found myself running.

We all knew this day was approaching,

Three words, one boy why was I stalling?

you can't stop wishing if you don't let go
untouched, and unmet, my first, and..
perhaps the time has come for me to do so.
