Juxtaposed

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Aug 18, 2008

Our hearts are being juxtaposed.
Mine is open. Yours is closed.
Seeking shelter or release?
Either way my love won't cease.

I see you and you see me
though one is what I want to be.
My love has begun fixation.
I can feel my heart's vibration.

Beating daily all for you
causing my love to imbue.
Beauty is seen everywhere.
I can feel it in your stare.

Do you feel the love I leak?
The love making my heart weak?
Just one touch and it will crumble.
Listen to the avalanche rumble.

Whisper, whisper in my ear.
Your heart's beating is all I hear.
Your words are so beautiful, but you know
it's not your mouth where my love will grow.

You may struggle and scream,
but I don't care if love's a dream.
You're in my thoughts every day.
In this case you have no say.

So that's it, that's how I feel.
With that you will have to deal.
You make my heart flutter and fuzz.
That's what falling in love does.

Vocab:

Juxtaposed: Compared.

Imbue: Suffuse with color.

Lol. I love the vocab part. My vocab is pretty darn high but i've never heard juxtaposed before so you got me. A few of the lines seemed forced, but maybe that's just me. I like the whole idea of the poem though. Telling someone that you love them no matter what. Great diction and awsome thought. (5/5)

I thought juxtaposed meant being placed by something. Like juxtaposing in literature means two things said by each other deliberately.
    Awesome poem though
