Grief

by Sugar   Aug 18, 2008

The rain is falling down
I'm weeping in the rain
All wears a frown
Faces covered with pain
Can't feel every touch the wind makes
Ignoring the wetness of water
from the heavens
All I feel is these tears my eyes shed
And the sorrow I think
that will go forever
Comforting everyone with
some piece of advice
But nothing can settle their hearts to calm
The roaring sounds of grief arise
Not peace, not joy, not even some
All gathered looking at the heavens
While rain pours over their faces
You'd see broken eyes gazes
Eyes hoping for acceptance
Hearts wishing for some freedom
Freedom from anything otherwise
A freedom for nothing
The rain is falling down while
I was weeping in the rain
I hope there'll be a day to come
that the sun will shine again
Shine and wipe my tears away...
