I Will Miss Him

I miss the way he gazed into my eyes.
How he held on tight,
Always putting off good-byes.
Saying farewell took all my might.
I would leave him with a kiss hoping he couldn't hear my sighs.

I miss the way he took away my fears,
It was an amazing thing.
The way he made me smile when there was
nothing but tears.
I guess to him this was just a summer fling.

I lay here at night and remember the time that we spent,
Laying under the stars,
Me thinking he was heaven sent.
Him claiming the night solely ours,
And remembering the evening's every event.

He stopped caring,
A week ago today.
I sit here despairing,
Thinking about what was taken away.

I miss him so much.
I just want one last kiss.
To feel his touch,
That for sure I will miss.
I guess I should let his memory out of my minds clutch.

Yet I will still miss him.
Yes, I will miss him very much.

P.S. I don't miss him anymore... I don't know who he has become. I still fell sad here and there but I just simply remember that everything happens for a reason. It makes me happy that I am free and able to meet more people now! Life Goes On... Just had to say that. Thanks :)
P.S.S. (Months later) Gha. Who am I kidding! He is amazing. Grr.

    What a touching write. We all miss our 'first true loves' or if he wasnt a true love, then we miss what we thought was love.
    You wrote about the true sadness of missing someone and the hurt and pain really came through your words.

    I know exactly wah u mean buh dont put urself down cuz u n dat guy arnt no longer 2gether
    do yourself a favor and move on and try to forget the past and worry about the present....because with i had some girl like that buh later on it didnt work n i spent months missing her and not getting over her...i missed out in so many oppurtunities with other women and i regret that so im jus tryin to help you so u dnt make the same mistake i did
