My Mask

by DerXLoveIsDeadX   Sep 4, 2008

Once again what do you see?

You will see this girl that seems so happy
But inside I am a girl that is sick of it all

You will see a girl with a smile on her face
But you will never see a tear fall from her

You will see a flirty girl
But not not the girl looking for love

You will see a "daddy's little girl"
But not the girl that wants to get away from them

You will see a girl that loves the world
Not the girl that wants all of this to go away

You will see the girl that talks to everyone
Not that girl that wants to run and hide in her room

You will see a girl that wants to have fun
Not the girl who wants to be alone

You will see a girl that loves her body and the way she looks
Not the girl that want to be a different person

You will see a smiling face, a happy girl, a girl that loves the world, a girl that is happy in her skin, and a fun wild and crazy girl
But NO ONE can see past my mask and find the girl that wants to change everything about her

You will never see the girl that is within me

You only see the mask that I have had for many years
And that will never come off
