Dream to Make Believe

by Beautiful Forever   Sep 5, 2008

Moonlit faeries envision my deepest dream,
In a language I don't understand they call,
Reflections of an impossible promise gleam,
Mono toning songs so beautiful they enthrall,

They illuminate a path to a foreign palace,
I follow willingly in hopes I'll find you,
Beautifully lit like an aurora borealis,
With golden doors I'm unable to pass through,

Slowly I scale a wall impossible to climb,
Holding my head up as I look to the sky,
My frozen hands slip on everlasting rime,
Yet the only way I'll stop is if I die,

You're pent up inside hiding away,
Alone with tears comforting your pain,
Waiting for the word's I'm dying to say,
To unlock the treasure I wish to obtain,

Finding you I run into your open arms,
You fade as I feel you close to my heart,
I open my eyes to a series of alarms,
In my arms - you were mine from the start...

Me dreaming of trying to get into her wall. Then waking up with her in my arms and realizing shes already mine. -- In other words. I've been trying to get so close to her, that I didn't even realize she was already mine. I was blind...
