A Bleeding Black Rose

by Steven Topaz   Sep 5, 2008

An empty light,
Will show your fight..
So much pain..
It's all the same..

Cry here
My black rose
Show me where
My world goes.

We will walk
into the night
The devils Talk,
No angels in sight.

So many thorns
They burn and bleed
A drop of blood
Is all you need

So many scars
and memories
My Bleeding Black Rose
It's you and me.

Bleeding forever
Our love never severed.
As we crave a dry rain
To wash away our pain.

I stand here staring.
At your blood stained petal.
I stand here crying.
Watching you,Slowly dying.

An interesting poem because it was very different and unique. and i mean that in a really positive way. devils, angels, roses, pain, light, rain, blood, memories all in one poem. great. i liked the last stanza best.
