Now i lay of stone

by firexflys   Sep 7, 2008

A set of feeling that I want to ignore
But what more can I do but explore

Feeling so feverish with lust
My words coming out in a rush

Time I might need
But my body yearns for the speed

A touch of care and might
As minds and hearts fight

Conclusion not to come
Just want another bottle to numb

A blistering high of calm
Before it settles in with a bomb

The hope to fight the darken eyes
Slow but in the end always dies

Like A serpent of the night
It will leave its deadly bit

As the pain seeps through the bone
Harden to the core, now I lay of stone

No beat to keep me whole
No heart to pay the toll

Captor by the many fears
And imprisoned by my hopeless tears

The road to endure alone
Never to be alive, never to be known

    "Life so dark
    Never live to know.
    Light will hark
    It will begin to snow.

    Shadows will lie
    And will tear you apart
    But you will cry
And it will still my heart"

You have inspired me. love this dark poem. great work. 5/5
