Broken Angel.

A broken angel flies above,
Shattered hope, lost love.
He kisses my tears off my cheek,
Hiding the answers I long to seek.

His coarse hands comfort mine,
Sunny skies that do not shine.
He clears his throat to let angelic words flow,
Only to end with an all-time low.

Broken angel, I cannot help you,
Forgotten tales, twisted blues.
Broken angel, why must you be who you are?
You can't remain broken, you belong with a star.

    i love those two lines. they really stuck out to me. i've never read or heard lines like that, quite creative. loved it all! 5/5.
