Noah Eugene Miller

I shouldn't be sitting in this waiting room filled with fears
i shouldn't be sitting here my eyes filled with tears
this waiting room is meant for happiness and joy
i should be happy saying "its a boy"

yet here i sit knowing what is to come
at first in pain but now only numb
wishing there was something anything we could've done
knowing i will never truly know this little one

now i stand watching this infant who never got to live
his life
this infant who will never know laughter or anger or
strife
being lowered slowly deep into the earth
my only memory of him being the bittersweetness of
his birth

This was very heart wrenching. It pulled at my gut. And at my eyes. Losing a child is a terrible thing. They never got a chance to live out their life. To experience the joys of love or happiness. The pain that comes with a still born child or a child that cannot live on its own is horrific. It kills a person of that I'm sure. Babies are the most precious thing for a husband and wife. Children make our world prosper. But so often now they die too early. I am sorry for your loss m'dear. It's a great loss and probably hard to cope with. But if you have the belief of heaven. Then you should know that your little Noah is with god and in perfect care. He's smiling down on you. Little sun rays of love are coming your way. You can be sure of that.
    Beautifully sad piece.
    Well penned.
    Absolutely heartbreaking.

This is very sad and I'm very sorry for your loss. The word choice was good though, it almost made me cry. A very touching tribute though. Keep up the good work.
