Listening.

by Arun Khan   Sep 23, 2008

I'm listening to silence, it's telling me
Deceitful reliance, its deafening melody
As the light creeps in, torturing my shadow
As the fight is to begin, licking bone and marrow
I'm running from echoes, their taunting me
Upon the hill of jackals, beneath the haunting tree
As the night moves in, bathing my skin
As the prayer is to begin, and lovers are cursed for their sin

I'm dining with dust, its lips drinking wine tenderly
Defining what breaks trust; blind eyes clearly see
As the scent of tragedy breaks in, throwing me to the floor
As we practice the Judas doctrine, painting hores on our door
I'm blooming withered roses, their thorns caress my chest
Within holy gardens the black Madonna poses, her hair in the wind represents my test
As the winter shuts itself in, calming my heart
As the fall is to begin, broken leafs tear me apart.

*Yet under Work.*
