A Quiescent Mind {acrostic}

by ghosts in bloom   Oct 2, 2008

Alternate universes twitch through my body

Quickly switching place with lesser reality
Untying loopholes of memory previously woven
Impregnated thoughts claim eminent domain
Enticing better judgment afar off to blame
Scanning uncouthly for imperial debris
Calmly foreseeing future within Pain's womb
Ecdysis completed while metamorphosis begins
Never remaining the same; souls renovation daily
Taking toll on weary minds: incapable shut-down

My longing stings; poison like talons; enjambment of truth
I desire only peace: tranquilizing point placement
Not chaotic train-wrecks of past, present, future
Diathesis innately non-quiescent and harassing
