Ready To Die

by a broken smile with a broken heart is a poets life   Oct 10, 2008

I'm ready to die,
My angel, please take me to God's side.
Maybe he'll send me to hell,
By the Devil's side
That's where I belong.

**This is a short poem, but it was what I was feeling at the time...please RRC if you like it. Thank you**

This was really interesting. I like how there is so much emotion in so little words. This is a great piece of work. I don't know what else to say about this, it is so simple yet so well done.

Good poem, very short but good. It would have been nice if you put a little more into it so that people would be able to better understand where you are coming from and why you felt the way that you did. 5/5

Mmmm not bad, a bit indecisive at first your like put me by God's side, then your like by the Devil's side is were you belong... but i understand being indecisive. were girls its what we do haha. still I love the simplicity of this piece it's so short but it has a lot of emotion... i don't remember the rhythm pattern for a haiku but you might look into that... this would make a wonderful haiku, but thats just my opinion... 5/5

You know this poem is very short. does that make it any less of a poem? no it doesn't. There is a poem that is three words, that is probably one of the most talked about poems in recent memory.

I loved this poem and felt that it was good.

    I'm ready to die,
My angel, please take me to God's side.

I think that line was mis-placed but other than that, I don't really have anymore advice for you.

It is very deep but I believe in writting what you feel at the time

I also believe most have felt the hopeless depression reflected in this dark poem
