Always Almost

by The Angel of Secrets   Oct 14, 2008

An almost woman walks on the earths very face,
Almost walk with elegance, can almost keep the pace.
Almost crashing into another almost man,
Almost on her route, can almost stick to plan.

She is almost promoted at work, almost at her best,
Always almost distance, always almost obsessed.
She can almost hate, she can almost feel,
She can almost love, but it is always almost real.

She is on a sailing ship, can almost keep it steady,
Death is closing in behind her, she is almost ready.
She can almost see the horizon, almost feel the breeze,
She is almost at war, and almost at peace.

She is almost cursed, almost sad,
Almost good and almost bad.
Almost perfect, and almost here,
Almost a saint, almost to fear.

She is almost safe and almost scared,
She is almost cold, and she almost cared.
She can almost be a mother one day, almost be a wife,
But she is doomed forever, cause always almost doesn't make it in this life.
