We have become more then what we were before

But our friendship worked both ways
I helped you through your hardest days
I could see past the mask you hid behind
I helped you find happiness you didnt think youd find
It was a normal night, we were having fun
chilling at his house with everyone
we drank a little from the bar
and thats when things went too far
You were like my brother, like family
Thats how much you meant to me
And then things changed so fast that night
But I didnt stop cus it felt so right
But I cant let you know how I feel
I cant let you know this love is real
Because we have been friends for so long
And I dont want anything to go wrong
So please understand what Im trying to say
Its for your sake I have to stay away
We cant fall in love anymore then we are now
