Room Full Of Strength

by gracey grey   Nov 2, 2008

There remains a room unopened in each and every soul
Hidden until despair comes knocking
A special room this is, for those who dares to open- and tread
In silent reverie and will, can one acquire the key
In sweet contemplation and acceptance, the lock can be found.

There is a room in my heart. The key, in my hand
Somewhere in between time stands still.

Somehow this speaks for so many people. So many of us think like the way you've written. I liked the idea of this one. Good poem!

..Likewise, the imagery here is very clear. Imagining rooms within oneself, each with a purpose, some of the rooms more special than others, thus requiring security to prevent others from abusing the special, but fragile contents. Only patience and continued integrity ever have a chance to glimps its contents.

Well done on this poem, it is very deep.
