Candy

by Beautiful Forever   Nov 3, 2008

Her voluptuous words sweep me off my feet,
A valid excuse to enslave my emotions,
Each phrase tastes even more bittersweet,
Sugar-coating my world with blue oceans,

A sour mood swallows my soft contemplation,
Her brewing depression devours my smile,
I'm gasping to breathe her gentle sensation,
A thirst only quenched by a tart-like bile,

Butterflies in my stomach avidly flutter,
Signifying my hearts monotonous confusion,
Her salty promises erase my minds clutter,
Although I'm not full from these allusions,

The savory achievement of holding on,
Allows the only taste that I can't see,
I eat these emotions until they're gone,
To realize - her love tastes like candy...
