Blasting the music until her ears bleed
the only sound left to comfort the death
of a heart so long abused

the moon bathes these battered wounds
but all she can do is scream so silently
glancing above in anguish, so confused

biting deep the cloth around soaks
but she cant stop anymore than he could
these droplets are the last reminder she'll allow

detoxifying herself of thoughts
for him to come back
if only he would
no longer hearing such phantoms
she see the numbness impart
perhaps she'd be the wiser of the two
in letting go of such a useless heart

leaden those eyes succumb
to a certain semblance of peace
allowing no last final thoughts
to convert this pain and cease

hatred now is flowing
where once all shined love
amazing how such things can turn,
become so barren of

letting the cold bite through battered bones
she's left to face the night as naked as you've stripped her
lighted by a darkness of one brought upon itself
she cant help but let out a content, evil purr

little fangs sharpen but still she walks on
never to be heard,
her silent words continued to whisper
of the things that never occurred...

-i don't know...
