Spinning into Happiness

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Nov 11, 2008

My mind is spinning as fast as the earth,
as I'm living my life for what it's worth.
Raindrops start to fall, causing eyelids to raise.
Seeing so clearly, where there was once haze.

Contrast vibrates all shades of gray away,
leaving nothing but brilliant colors to stay.
Every thing's in front of me, nothing is behind.
Now I can live my life peacefully and unwind.

Confidence emerges as new hobbies ferment,
making jokes at all the pointless tears spent.
Smiles in hallways, as friends pass on by.
Taking past terrors, and replacing with a sigh.

Sunlight painted visions of a future in the light
is making everything look beautiful in my sight.
When future comes to mind it's like eating candy.
People ask me how I am and I say all is dandy.

Yes, life is evening out, and I like it that way.
All I can work on is allowing the feeling to stay.
Things are going great in a world so twisted.
It's hard to believe darkness ever existed.
