I told you I loved you and I thought it was true
Because every time we kissed I fell harder for you
But when it comes down to it I guess lust won the fight
Because it wasnt you I was with last night
He called me late and we talked on the phone
For hours we said we hated being alone
We each had a lover but we needed more
So we did something I never have before
I needed relief before I lost my sanity
And thats when lust got the better of me
We agreed to meet up to have a good time
So we could both get sex off of our mind
But that didnt work because guilt kicked in
And in the end it was the thing to win
We did the deed but after the fact
We both wished we could take it back
Because the idea of hurting the ones we loved
Was something neither of us ever dreamed of
