Pure Conception

by Michael D Nalley   Nov 28, 2008

Anno Domini Nostri Iesu Christi
"In the Year of Our Lord Jesus Christ".
Many tongues have sung to thee
The praises of Our Lord to be sacrificed

From the water came the wine
With the wine we are as one
With the Holy Spirit so divine
From the Father to the Son

Extend to the wedding guest
A miraculous reception
With your grace we are blessed
By blood of pure conception

Maybe it's just me who's no understanding the beauty of these pieces, but this piece just didn't mean anything to me. Yes, the rhymes were good, and the stanzas were well constructed, but the context doesn't to have any real purpose.

I like this poem, I've not came across lots of religious poems, but this one is short yet so much has being said. I like the way you'd started it and the message it convey. Keep it up, kel.
