Windless night

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Dec 5, 2008

The air so cold, frigid night
Hallow echos, dead of night
Crisp frost underneath my feet
Crystal branches reach out to me
Almost as if to pull me into their embrace
To hide me from this worlds cruel taste
To be at peace,
To have a silver lullaby
To never have to worry about the woes of life
Relaxed I slowly smile up at the sky
The moon shining down ever so bright
Soaking up those rays of light
And marveling at how the stars
Look just like diamonds thrown
Upon a velvet tapestry, darkness alone
And the air so cold, frigid night
Hallow echos dead of night
