Just Existing

Tired of the constant irreversible pounding
The surf of my thoughts
Washing over, consuming
Fully as I sink deeply
Underneath the water
Not breathing
Air bubbles float above me
Just out of reach
Where have I gone
That I'm so exhausted
All I can do is exist
As that pounding surf continues.
