Oxygen

I feel like I'm trapped
Within this box that I have made for myself
That I carefully crafted over the years
Not knowing that while doing so
I had signed my death certificate
The air is getting stale, harder to breathe
And each breath I draw
Pulls less oxygen into my lungs
Panicking, my eyes wide, I can see out
Of this illusion I have created
The truth is, I am trapped now
Within this box I made

I understand this feeling so well, and I think that I am not the only one. We often feel trapped by many things in life - family, friends, values, insecurities. I think you did an excellent job expressing what it feels like to be trapped. I hate being in this position, because it feels like you will never be able to breathe again especially if you do something wrong.

Typos: I would insert something between 'stale' and 'harder' because it is suppose to be two different thoughts. I don't know if you would insert 'and' or put a semi-colon in there :[

    Very well done.

    Excellent
