Runaway World

by Cotton Candy Clouds   Dec 8, 2008

You always play
from the sidelines.
Afraid to get involved,
missing all the signs.

Never seen it as worth it
to actually let someone in.
Making sure no real chemistry
can ever actually begin.

Been taught not
to trust anyone and
from a real relationship
to always run.

The person you love
will never love you back.
Things never can
actually stay on track.

Why can't you just
admit you were to cautious?
The pain you keep causing
makes me feel so nauseous.

Are these guidelines or rules,
really worth feeling that alone?
Is it really helping to
not explore the unknown?

I hope you are happy when
you look back on your life.
Hope you are glad that you never made
the mistake of taking me as your wife.

Awww...those last few lines, Tabi...so heartbreaking:(
You know..some men don't see what they have until it's way too late. My advice to you is to be very open about how you feel about him, if he says he cannot return the feeling then move on sweetheart..however difficult that may be. Some men are just afraid to make a commitment and too many beautiful young girls have waisted their years away thinking it would eventually all turn out alright;)

    Hugs,
