Your Wish

by Sylvia   Dec 18, 2008

My husband, your thoughts fill me with dread.
Many times you have said,
I wish I was dead.
And I fled.
Scared.

Tell me, did awful thoughts fill your head
on the day that we were wed?
I wish I was dead.
And I fled.
Cared.

I do not know what to say, instead
very lightly I do tread.
I wish I was dead,
and I fled.
Spared.

    Silvia,

To read these words is so sad...
I know from my parents that sometimes people no longer love aech other but stay together and they live in their private hell, for whatever reason they may have..
I wish the sun would shine for you again, but reading your words I think this could only happen if you were to leave this man.
    *hugs*
