Denial...

Denial...

The colors of happiness just but fades
As darkness sets soon to evade
The sun is turning for the other side
And from you my heart I must hide

The sound of you breath makes me cringe
As every part of myself is being un-hinged
I dive in like a wrecking ball
And I beckon to that beautiful call

Tired of the sorrows of a broke day
But still I walk the lines astray
Feeling you craw though my veins
As I'm trapped by these iron hard chains

I drop to my feet tortured by pain
My mind is numbing, I'm going insane
A burst of blood red rage
I'm yearning to get out of this cage

Prisoner by my reckless emotions
Drown down to the darkest of oceans
Engulfed by the black blue waters
As the rest of me you slaughter

Sickened by the warmth of your smile
Again I throw myself in this denial
The coldness of your eyes show
Though I won't believe a lie you tell...
