Sailor in the Skies

by Jemma   Jan 9, 2009

There's a sailor in the skies
He leaps around his deck
Singing seas songs to the starlight

He has no name that's not forgotten
And no life remembered still
But no journeys lose their glitter
And he'll never just stand still

He's got a beard caked in stardust
And the tokens of astral wars
Battles with the Martians
Never needing gravity's hold

He's a man of obligation
He draws our moon across the skies
With skill and strength he pulls it
Giving the reigns to tug our tides

His steed is a midnight stallion
And its eyes are shadows in the dark
No fear can be found within them
Of the travels yet to be embarked

**Just a little silliness**
