Miss You

As life goes on, as days fly by
Every second, a piece of me dies
Gusts of wind, pounds of thunder
Nights get dreary, dreams pull me under

Thoughts and memories before my eyes
Tears drain out, as I lie
Kisses, hugs, pokes and tugs
Romantic loving, passionate snugs

Connections seem closer, feelings seem bright
As I move in, lips lock tight
stains of salt, reminders of fears
murmurs of just how much i miss you, my dear
