Thunderstorm.

by Courageous Dreamer   Jan 31, 2009

Violent skies plentiful with clouds ready to burst with rain,
a thunderstorm approaches as thunder grumbles angrily,
sending shock waves through the ground, shaking it furiously.
Lightning flickers continuously, occasionally grasping a tree
with its devilish claw, ripping it from it's roots, splitting it in half.

Devastation consumes the town as the thunderstorm concludes,
everything completely destroyed by the wrath of the storm.

Absolutely stunning descriptions of a storm, I always find them to be fascinating and love to watch them. You really expressed and portrayed the destruction it does cause, and so much imagery passed through my mind it was like I was there watching a storm! Excellent work, you wrote this so well, take care and keep writing...
