It Was Just A Dream

I opened my eyes
Searching for the familiar light
I breathed a sigh
And told myself not to grip too tight

We stood side by side
As we held each other's hand
We walked slowly
As I carve your name in my heart.

You embraced me tight
Like you'd never want to let go
We felt everything right
As we watch the river flow.

The heaven started to cry
And you danced with me in the rain
My heart fluttered high,
This memory, in my heart it shall remain.

The sudden emptiness
Had caused me to frown
I thought it was real
And I had let my guard down.

I woke up in the morning
Figuring out what I had just seen
Until I finally realized
Everything was just a dream.

    Dreams , and reality , are just too confusiong sometimes,

    some might think love is a bad thing , becasue after soo long dancing and feelings and sos trong emotions , they hit a very hard wall and get crushed,

    love is not a bad thing in my opingon , but it canbe bad int eh hands of false lovers.

    it is not love fault if the lovers dont match ,

    you pinned the rain from heaven (exceltent metaphore)
    and the last stanza you pineed my imagine taion to think it was really her dream or a wrong false love that gone bad

    great poem i enjoyed it
    flow was great teh storie flow was awesome i could not stop reading til the end

    you deserve my vote 5/5
