Bitter winter

by Brittany   Mar 17, 2009

Death hangs
So bitterly in the air.
This cold crisp winter,
Just too much to bare.

A shiver of chills
Runs so frantically down my spine.
As I turn from the coffin,
Hating to leave you behind.

A glance in your direction,
And tears fill up my eyes.
Questions cloud my judgement,
I can't help but ask you why.

Tears shake my body,
As I desperately fall to the ground.
Fold my hands, begin to pray,
Hoping these answers will soon be found.

I am gessing that this poem is written based on someone that has passed away.. it is really really good, your wording is great, i think that deserves a 5 outa 5.

    Keep it up!
