On the edge of Arrogance

by Daisy if you do   Mar 19, 2009

Desperation, pondering
on peaks of pain.
Oceans of Why's
filled with jealous despair.
Mountains of arrogance.
I'd respond with wit
but I've lost all stamina.
Sighing, I seize my fear
convulsions.
Pangs of embarrassment
sting my face.
Plateaus of envious egos.
Valleys of sad despair.

All is cold

Such an interesting piece. I see hurt and anger. I see the questions, and lost horizons. Yes, there is pain, and the insults we all fear to face. How many of us have been there? How many fear to move on? How many are trong enough to put it in a so permanent form of the written word? Well done.

Though this is a short piece, I can feel the sad emotions running through this poem. I like how you used nature(ocean, mountain etc) to help enhance your poem. I think it really worked well here.It was certainly delightful to read.

    Excellent Job
