Deceit and Misconceptions. (Collab)

by Courageous Dreamer   Apr 10, 2009

Prancing around striving for attention,
Affable advice departs from your lips,
welcoming souls to soak in words
of wisdom, various friendships bloom.

Fake are these buds that seem genuine.
Deceit and misconceptions sprout forth,
spreading untruth and dripping honey,
poisoned with ignorance.

Lurking behind backs of the innocent,
with a smirk of evilness oblivious to many.
Interfering within lives, invading privacy,
loyalty is destroyed, special bonds lost
...as a result of distrust.

    Temps and TJ
The two of you did a really good job on this collab...reading it feels like going back 30 years (Wow I didn't realize it had been that long LOL ) to High school days. Very sad.

I have known a few people like this in my life.

Fake are these buds that seem genuine.
    Deceit and misconceptions sprout forth,
    spreading untruth and dripping honey,
    poisoned with ignorance.

That's the worst part the sweetness they use to hurt others all the time smiling.

You guys hit this right on :)
    Excellent Job!

This is really a very sad poem....
I don't know what else to say accept I don't know anyone like that, or maybe I am just blind to it.
    It was written beautifully, though.

    Good job to you both,

    *hugs*

    5/5 Ingrid
