Feeling the same

by Caroline   Apr 17, 2009

A heart that beats so hard,
It feels like it will burst.
In a world filled with hate,
Because we hide the hurt.

She could of sworn it was love,
The way he made her feel.
He could of sworn it was lust,
None of it was real.

She lived for him,
He was her world.
He lived for the moment,
She was just a girl.

She would have done anything for him,
Even would of died.
He never did anything for her,
Besides lie.

She would think of him all night,
Then he would haunt her in her sleep.
He would sleep like a baby,
Having nothing but peaceful dreams.

Now she starts to realize,
She's alone on a two way street.
Now he starts to realize,
She's the one he wished to meet.

She feels so alone,
Has completely given up.
He feels like she's the one,
His angel from above.

She feels completely drained,
When will it be enough?
He feels it's time to pick up the phone,
Time to share his love.

She ignores a ring,
As she ties a rope around her neck.
He ignores the siren's on his street,
Figures their was just a wreck.

Till she is found,
Hanging from a rope.
He feels dead too,
Not sure how to cope.

Now her love is gone,
Only memories remain.
Now his love gone,
They finally feel the same.
