If The Earth Could Speak

by Joshua Reimer   May 8, 2009

If the earth could speak,
What would it say?
You've raped my lands
And left decay.

Dropped your bombs,
Polluted my streams,
Still carry on with
Ill fated schemes.

I too feel pain,
But you will not see
My tears, my wounds,
My barren tree.

Should I come forth
And retaliate?
To make you see
Before too late!
